3. Alberto Del Rio claiming to return to WWE

Alberto Del Rio has not been seen in WWE Television since 2016. He is a former WWE World Champion and he is willing to make his return to the company. The only thing which is holding him back is his messy legal situation.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Alberto is telling people that he is going back to WWE once his legal situation is over.

While I don’t believe this at all, but Alberto El Patron is telling people that he’s going to WWE when his legal situation regarding the alleged assault on an ex-girlfriend in San Antonio is cleared up. It would actually shock me if WWE would use him, not that anything is impossible and WWE could get away with it while any other U.S. company would be excoriated for it, but I don’t think that’s a direction that makes any sense for them at this point

We have to wait and see what’s next for Alberto, as he has been accused with some serious charges in the past and still some of the cases are still open. Everyone knows how WWE react when any of their wrestlers got into this kind of situation. You can never say never in WWE, especially when it comes to Vince McMahon giving someone a second or third chance.
