After intense speculation, it does appear WWE is moving forward with a Blockbuster match featuring WWE Legend The Rock versus current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns for next year’s epic WrestleMania when pro-wrestling goes Hollywood. The equivalent to a Super Bowl & World Series concerning wrestling just became that much bigger. You’ve heard celebrity, sports, & wrestling media outlets have relentlessly talked about this match. Both Rock & Reigns want that monumental showdown from their responses in interviews.
The Wrestler Observer Newsletter has relayed the news about Rock versus Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. WWE is leaving it up to Rock. My guess would be if he can do it because of his busy Hollywood schedule. WON also mentioned things could still change regarding a potential match due to what was previously aforementioned.
