07. Jinder Mahal Vs. Randy Orton – WWE Championship (Backlash 2017)

Now what can I say about this match 😊 Jinder Mahal is one of the worst WWE Champions of all time and why WWE chose to crown him as WWE Champion we all know that very well. His entire championship reign was so lackluster that almost all of his title defenses are one of the worst matches of the event except when he lose the title against AJ Styles in an episode of Friday Night Smackdown.

Now, let’s talk about this match, Randy Orton was having his one of the most underwhelming title run in his entire career after winning the title from Bray Wyatt in one of the most forgettable main events of Wrestlemania history. Then, Jinder became the #1 Contender to shock the world and even went on to defeat Orton for his first ever singles championship in his entire career.

Match was a complete slugfest with the interference of Singh Brothers. The finishing move of Jinder doesn’t even look devastating to prove that he can pin a 13 time World Champion with such ease. Yes, the result of this match can be one of the most shocking title changes of all time, but still this match will be considered as of the worst.
