06. Shinsuke Nakamura Vs. AJ Styles – WWE Championship (Backlash 2018)

AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura are two of the greatest wrestlers around the globe. It was a dream come true for every wrestling fan when Nakamura won the Royal Rumble and chose Styles to face at Wrestlemania for the WWE Title. After having a lackluster affair at Wrestlemania 34 with an unwanted heel turn from Nakamura, they face each other once again in a No DQ match at Backlash 2018.

Now, the match itself was fine because it’s just impossible that two of the greatest performers in the wrestling world would have a worst match in the card. But, WWE made it possible by the way they book the ending of the match. Styles face was cut by a botched chair shot and he was bleeding from his cheek and the No DQ match ended in a double count-out. What worse you can think of it? Yes!! It ended in a double count-out when both men kick each other in the balls at the same time. Yes! That’s true and only WWE can thought this kind of ending to the match to continue the rivalry.
