05. Triple H Vs. Hulk Hogan – WWE Championship (Backlash 2002)

Another dream match and another letdown. Triple H Vs. Hulk Hogan looks like a huge dream match on the papers but the reality is not like that. Hulk Hogan had one of the greatest matches in the Wrestlemania history against the Rock where he turned babyface and left the NWO. On the other hand, Triple H became the Undisputed WWE Champion after beating Chris Jericho in the main event of WM 18.

Match was itself a total slugfest and no one wants to see Hogan became the WWE Champion at that point of time. Triple H was on fire after his historic return. But, WWE chose to put Hogan over Hunter. Undertaker interfered in the match and cost Triple H the title. One month later, Hogan dropped the title to Undertaker in Judgement Day 2002.
