Roman Reigns (c) Vs. Brock Lesnar – No Disqualification Match for the Universal Championship
We start of with a stiff clutch and a break up then Brock charges in with hammerfists and kicks. Getting stuffed on the first two German suplex attempts Roman lays in a few strikes. But missing a big punch Lesnar connects the first German suplex. Roman tried to keep Lesnar outside of the ring with superman punches. Even going so far as to doing his insanely impressive Tope to the outside. Reigns hits a quick spear and we get a close near fall. Another two Superman punches, then Roman goes for the spear… missing as Lesnar leaps over Reigns causing him to go headfirst into the turnbuckle.
Not one, not two, but three emphatic German suplexes and an F5. But Roman kicks out at 2.9. I just want to mention this crowd was not quiet for a moment of this match. Brock goes for another F5 but Roman catches in the Guillotine, until Lesnar just plants Reigns with a spine buster. A moment of silence as Brock connects another F5 to Roman but he lands onto referee Charles Robinson. This distraction leads to Roman hitting a spear. Both men are down, Paul has the title in hand. He throws the belt between the two men and screams “You know what to do with it!” A tug of war happens giving Brock possession of the belt, cue the Usos who with the referee down hit a double superkick, Reigns following up with the universal title off the skull of Brock Lesnar. Roman Reigns beats Lesnar with assistance from the bloodline.
This concludes the Crown Jewel 2021 show with a match that I’ll give 3.5 out of 5 stars.
