Edge and Randy Orton comes face to face last night at WWE Backlash for the ‘Greatest Wrestling Match Ever’.
This was Edge’s first regular wrestling match after nine and half years, Edge returned at this year WWE Royal Rumble and went on to start a feud between him and Randy Orton. They collide at Wrestlemania 36 in a Last Man Standing match where Edge defeated Orton in a much lengthy match.
WWE Backlash was supposed to be the next step for his triumphant comeback but as per PWInsider.com, Edge reportedly tore his triceps during his match against Randy Orton last night at Backlash.
According to the reports, the match was pre taped few weeks ago but WWE kept the injury under the wraps. But Edge could be out for 4 to 8 months.
