Here we go folks!  The fans have returned full time to the WWE and it’s just in time for Money in the Bank weekend.  Holding off on this ppv until now was a brilliant idea, as this is the kind of show that the fans can come back to with a high energy that can really elevate the entire event.  The Money in the Bank matches will offer a complete reset on storylines and the shows as a whole, so the timing is just perfect.  Two lucky competitors will have their career change for the better as they win guaranteed title shots at a time of their choosing.

Along with that we are getting Roman and Edge for the first time ever, one on one.  A back to form Bobby Lashley trying to fend off the seond coming of Kofi-mania and hopefully the last match up between Rhea Ripley and Charlotte… for now.  We are in for one hell of an event for the return of these fans, so lets take a look at what we have in store come Sunday.

The Mysterio’s(c) vs The Uso’s

To kick off the evening, we’ll be getting a fast paced Tag Team match when Rey and Dominik put the Smackdown Tag titles on the line against The Uso’s.  When Rey got beat down in the Cell by Roman, it was only a matter of time before we would see Jimmy and Jey come after the titles.  It would be a shame to see the Mysterio’s lose the titles so soon, without ever really getting a chance to defend them.  But with The Bloodline running things on the blue brand, the challengers are a true threat here.  Winning the belts would be a good way to prove themselves to the Tribal Chief as they look for his validation but at the same time, they have consistently let Roman down and this could just be one more notch to that ever growing list, which could cause further turmoil in the family.  Since this is a pre show match, expect these guys to get plenty of time to put on a great match full of high flying action.  With Jimmy Uso having recent legal issues, I would find it hard to think they reward him for his actions.  I see Rey and Dom walking out here with the belts, leaving Jimmy and Jey to have to answer for their failures once again.

Winners:  Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio retain

AJ & Omos(c) vs The Viking Raiders

When the Viking Raiders won the number one contendership, it looked like this might just be a filler match while we await RKBRO to find their groove and be the real challengers for AJ & Omos.  The re-emergence of the tag division on Raw has been fantastic and Raw creative should get some credit in making the Viking Raiders look like they have a chance here.  Constantly taking advantage of 2 on 1 attacks against the Tag Champs, and even scoring a one on one victory over AJ, the Viking Raiders have not looked weak in this build.  They have shown they aren’t backing down from the giant of Omos and have had the upper hand on more than one occasion.  Much like the Smackdown tag title match, I see this as being a very entertaining match with a different pace as Erik and Ivan will surely try to limit Omos’ in ring dominance and focus on working over AJ.  In the end, I can’t see the Raiders over coming the giant of a man and will eventually fall after a very valiant effort.

Winners:  AJ Styles & Omos retain
