Rhea Ripley (c) Vs. Charlotte Flair – RAW Women’s Championship

It was great to see fans into this match due to being cheated out of this match in the biggest stage of them all last year. It was pretty even until the crowd began to chant “We Want Becky” since they all know she is in attendance. The crowd started to cheer Charlotte, but Flair, the professional, told the crowd to “Suck It” and flipped them off. Stiff shots from Ripley were putting her in control, but once she tried to go airborne, Flair got her into a Boston Crab, which Flair the advantage.

Ripley pulled out all the stops, even busting out unique suplex shades of El Generico from back in the day. The match looked like it was all done when Flair countered the Rip Tied into a DDT as fans go crazy at this point. Flair is going desperate as she uses the ropes to attempt a win. Flair hits a super Natural Selection from the top rope, and Ripley still kicks out, and everyone is in disbelief. Flair attacks Ripley’s legs with the steel steps and puts in the Figure-Eight and feels like an eternity until Ripley finally taps out. Charlotte Flair wins her fifth Raw Women’s championship.
