Backstage, LeRae introduces us to her WarGames team, Kai, Gonzalez, and Toni Storm. Storm says she told everyone that when she came to NXT it was going to be a new Toni Storm.

Kushida Vs. Timothy Thatcher

Kushida tries to knock Thatcher off the apron with a handspring attack but Thatcher clutches Kushida’s leg and locks in a submission. The referee makes Thatcher break the hold after a five-count.

Kushida tries to lock in the Hoverboard Lock. Thatcher turns that into a submission of his own. Kushida and Thatcher trade submission attempts. 

Kushida sends Thatcher into the ring steps shoulder first. Thatcher’s face is bleeding. Kushida works over Thatcher’s arm. Thatcher suplexes Kushida. Thatcher spends too much time focused on Ciampa, which allows Kushida to put Thatcher in the Hoverboard Lock. Thatcher taps out.

Winner- Kushida

Ciampa walks up to a camera and says maybe Thatcher has a problem with him now. Thatcher is seething.
