WWE Royal Rumble 2022 Full Results – Jan 29th 2022.
Roman Reigns (C) Vs. Seth Rollins – Universal Championship
As Reigns waits for Rollins, The Sheild’s music hits. Rollins is in full Sheild gear and enters through the crowd. Reigns is visibly upset. After the bell rings Rollins quickly escapes a waist lock from Reigns. Reigns lands a few strikes. Rollins fires back and sends Reigns over the top with a clothesline. Rollins tries a springboard but Reigns blasts him with an uppercut as he sails through the air. Drive-by by Reigns.
Reigns leaps of the steps for a Superman Punch but Rollins counters with a powerbomb through the announce desk. Rollins sends Reigns back into the ring and hits a frog splash. Reigns kicks out. Rollins tries a phoenix splash but Reigns moves out of the way. Buckle Bomb by Rollins. Rollins hits the Stomp! Reigns kicks out at 2.9. Rollins runs right into a clothesline. Reigns grounds and pounds Rollins. Powerbomb by Reigns. Rollins kicks out. Rollins traps Reigns in a triangle. Reigns counters with a powerbomb. Reigns drives Rollins into the post. Rollins falls out of the ring.
Reigns tosses Rollins into the ring steps before sending him back into the ring. Superman Punch by Reigns. Rollins kicks out. Rollins rolls out of the ring. Reigns Spears Rollins out on the floor. Reigns tries another but Rollins reverses it into a Pedigree. Somehow, Reigns manages to kick out. Reigns avoids the Stomp and sets up a Rock Bottom. Rollins fights out of that. Spear by Reigns. Rollins is laughing as he is rolling around in pain on the mat. Reigns paces around the ring. Rollins tries to fist bump Reigns. Reigns locks Rollins in the Guillotine. Rollins grabs the ropes but Reigns doesn’t break the hold and ref was forced to disqualify Reigns.
After the match, Reigns decimates Rollins with chair and leave him almost unconsious in the middle of the ring.
Winner: Seth Rollins via DQ & Still Universal Champion Roman Reigns

Before Tamina gets to the ring Banks hits Meteora off the apron. Banks hits a bulldog followed by Meteora in the corner.

Kelly sends Tamina into the corner with a head scissors. Handspring splash by Kelly. Kelly tries to head scissor Banks out of the ring. Banks escapes and boots Kelly off the apron.

Doudrop tosses Lynch all over the ring. Lynch is totally overpowered. Doudrop sets up her finish but Lynch moves out of the way. Lynch tries a shoulder block but it has no effect. Doudrop runs over Lynch. Lynch rolls out of the ring and lays against the ring steps. Doudrop tries a senton but Lynch moves out of the way. Doudrop crashes into the steps. Lynch works over Doudrop. Doudrop fires up and crushes Lynch with a senton.
Lynch traps Doudrop in the Disarm-her. Doudrop reverses it into a sit-out powerbomb. Lynch kicks out. Doudrop hits a cannonball in the corner. Lynch kicks out again. Lynch hits the Molly-Go-Round for a near fall. Doudrop hits a modified version of the Big Ending. Lynch kicks out at two. Doudrop goes up top. Lynch cuts her off and hits a Manhandle Slam off the second rope for the win.

Brock Lesnar (c) Vs. Bobby Lashley – WWE Championship
After three big matches, the crowd is ready for the big game. And by the white pants of Bobby Lashley and the braid on Brock Lesnar, this match has that Wrestlemania feel. These two in the ring feel right. Right away, Lashley hits an impressive German Suplex on Lesnar, and he is unphased. Lesnar attempts an F5, and Lashley reverses and gives his two flawless spears. Lesnar has control when he hits countless Germans on Lashley. Lashley has the Hurt Lock out of nowhere, and fans are on their feet hoping Lesnar is fading away. Lesnar locks in the F5 and knocks out the referee.
And then Roman Reigns spears Lesnar looks at Paul Heyman, and hands the WWE Championship to Reigns. Reigns hit Lesnar with the championship, and the new referee counts three, and Bobby Lashley is the new WWE Champion. Reigns leaves with Heyman and begin the sets up Lesnar vs. Reigns for possibly Wrestlemania.

Edge & Beth Phoenix Vs. Miz & Maryse – Mixed Tag Team Match
Beth Phoenix is chasing Maryse in a goofy, funny fashion right away. Phoenix begins to get frustrated and attempts to get a chair to defend her husband. Finally, Phoenix and Miz are face to face and get Miz into a corner, shoulders into the midsection. Maryse hits Phoenix with the purse brick from behind, and Phoenix is ready for it when she is kicked out of two.
Maryse and Phoenix have a great wrestling moment showing that they were pioneers of the Women’s Revolution. The ending moments of the match have the entire arena on their feet. Phoenix hits the Miz with an incredible powerbomb into an elbow drop from Edge. Maryse has one the most significant moves she’s hit when she hit Edge with a fantastic huricanrana. Then Edge and Phoenix hit a double spear, then a double Glam Slam. It was a very entertaining match to get the crowd read for the Men’s Royal Rumble.
