Backstage, Adam Pearce is with Sonya Deville. Paul Heyman walks up to them and Sonya leaves. Heyman tells that Pearce is a part of the Gauntlet match.

King Corbin Vs. Sami Zayn Vs. Rey Mysterio Vs. Daniel Bryan Vs. Shinsuke Nakamura Vs. Adam Pearce – Gauntlet match #1 Contender’s match for the Universal Championship

Sami Zayn comes out and slams WWE management and says that they’re targeting Zayn and it’s a huge conspiracy against him, that’s why they put him on the number one spot in the Gauntlet match.

Mysterio and Zayn starts the match. Mysterio hits the 619 and pins Zayn to three.

Sami Zayn is eliminated.

Nakamura is next, both men goes back and forth & Nakamura takes control over Mysterio. Mysterio fights back with a 619 but Nakamura counters the frog splash into an armbar and Mysterio taps out.

Rey Mysterio is eliminated.

King Corbin attacks Mysterio and Dominik before his match starts withh Nakamura.
