WWE Smackdown results – 16th Oct. 2020 –

The entire SmackDown locker room is on the stage. Stephanie and Triple H are in the ring. Triple H announces the main event. Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. Stephanie says in their farewell match, The New Day will face Nakamura, Sheamus, and Cesaro. Jeff Hardy battles Lars Sullivan. Daniel Bryan returns tonight. HHH and Stephanie run down the new faces on SmackDown.

The Street Profits will defend the SmackDown tag team titles against Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. Roode and Ziggler attack Dawkins and Ford. A huge brawl breaks out. Owens dives off the apron and takes out Aleister Black and several others. Ford dives out of the ring and flattens Ziggler and Roode. Lars Sullivan powerwalks down to the ring and destroys everyone.

Hardy attacks Sullivan from behind. Hardy almost hits the Twist of Fate but Sullivan avoids it. Hardy dropkicks Sullivan out of the ring.
