The First Stop on WWE’s Japan Tour

The EDION Arena Osaka in Osaka, Japan, played host to WWE’s house show on July 25, 2024. This event marked the first of three thrilling shows WWE will be hosting in the country, kicking off their highly anticipated Japan tour.

This show was significant not only for its intense matchups but also for the return of fan-favorite Asuka, who underwent knee surgery in June. Asuka’s reunion with Damage CTRL was a highlight of the evening.

The Bloodline defeated LA Knight & Kevin Owens.
Cody Rhodes defeated AJ Styles & Shinsuke Nakamura in a Triple Threat Match to retain his Undisputed WWE Championship.
Damian Priest defeated Jey Uso to retain his World Heavyweight Championship.
The Judgment Day defeated The New Day to retain their World Tag Team Championships.
Sami Zayn defeated Dominik Mysterio to retain his Intercontinental Championship.
Liv Morgan defeated Iyo SKY to retain her Women’s World Championship, with Asuka making a triumphant return.
Gunther defeated Rey Mysterio in a hard-fought battle.
Bayley, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Meiko Satomura teamed up to defeat Damage CTRL and Tiffany Stratton.

Fans in Osaka were treated to a spectacular night of wrestling, setting an exciting tone for the remainder of WWE’s tour in Japan. With Asuka back and the championships fiercely competed for, the WWE Universe in Japan is undoubtedly in for more thrilling action.
