3. WrestleMania 26 Ladder Match

Too many cooks spoil the broth as proved in this MITB match. Previously the stipulation had seen anywhere from 6-8 participants per match but in order to try to cram the ‘Mania 26 edition, they tried with 10 men and it just did not work.

This meant that spots for all the wrestlers had to be crammed in as the chaotic nature of all 10 men made it hard to keep track. Apart from a ladder-oriented Shooting Star Press from Evan Bourne some of the spots made little sense such as trapping Jack Swagger within a ladder only for him to escape and Kofi Kingston using a ladder as stills when they are other, perfectly-unhindered ladders to use that could actually win him the match.

The result was a little underwhelming as although winner Swagger had potential, he had little connection to fans and his eventual reign would be disappointing. It also took the future Jake Hager what felt like a century to retrieve the briefcase as he must have fiddled with the release mechanism for an uncomfortably long time.
