9. Carmella vs Michelle McCool

Carmella

Carmella and Michelle McCool had some interaction during the 2018 Royal Rumble and from what we saw the chemistry is there. Michelle McCool seems to have chemistry with almost everyone she touched inside of the 2018 Royal Rumble but seeing these two blonds do battle would be fun.

Carmella needs to bring back her old gimmick, The Princess of Staten Island really made her stand out from the crowd while making everything she did fun. This version of Carmella should be the one to challenge Michelle McCool who should also bring back one of her old gimmicks, the All-American Diva. The Princess vs the Diva writes itself and might just be the big match Carmella needs for the WWE universe to see her as something more than just a pretty face. She is a talented in-ring performer and McCool can help her prove this.

8. Asuka vs Trish Stratus

Trish Stratus broke down barriers alongside Lita in WWE, showing the fans and the world what women can do inside of a ring if given the time and storylines. Asuka is one of the best wrestlers to come out of Japan in the last decade, showing her dedication to the craft while proving her dominance time and time again inside the squared circle. Why not have these two top-tier women face off in WWE.

Trish seemed to retire from in-ring competition at SummerSlam 2019 after being defeated by Charlotte Flair but could the possibility of a match with Asuka bring her back to WWE? The two women faced off inside of the 2018 Royal Rumble and ever since then a match between the two has been on my mind. Rumors are circulating that Stratus will be appearing in this year’s Rumble and while Asuka has been out with an injury maybe she will return too, and we will get another interaction between the two.

7. Sonya Deville vs Michelle McCool

Sonya Deville and Michelle McCool had great chemistry in the small interaction they had inside the 2018 Royal Rumble. Trading kicks and chops showing off their athletic prowess. Both have backgrounds in various sports, with Deville focusing on MMA while McCool worked as a gymnastics and kickboxing teacher before making her way to the WWE.

McCool and Deville are athletic women who deserve the time to show off what they can really do. While McCool was involved in a time that wasn’t great for the women of WWE, Deville, up until quite recently, was always in the shadow of tag team partner and real-life best friend Mandy Rose. Both are very good at playing villainous characters but they both do it in very different ways, but both are also sneaky in their approach. They could both be each other’s natural foils, the two feuding for years on and off until eventually that big one on one match takes place, and why not have a championship involved for good measure. Also keep Mandy Rose as far away from this as possible unless we get a Sonya, Michelle, and Layla team up against Toxic Attraction.
