3. A Bullet Through The Club?
Since Slammiversary when we saw Jay White enter into the Impact Zone, we have started to see The Bullet Club take a more prominent role on Impact. With El Phantasmo returning and Hikuleo debuting plus the recent inclusion of Chris Bey, the Bullet Club really have been given a lot of momentum leading up to Bound For Glory.
At Bound For Glory we would see El Phantasmo compete in an incredible 3 way match for the vacant X Division title, Bey and Hikuleo would also go on to challenge the Good Brothers for their Tag Team titles in a 3 way match with Finjuice. In both matches however The Bullet Club not only walk away empty handed but also walk away eating the pin.
When it comes to the X Division match you are able to give that a pass as you can see that Impact really want to protect Maclin and it was the perfect time for Trey to win, however the Tag Title match didn’t have to follow suit? Issues with Braun Strowman were down to negotiations still ongoing. I think we will see him, I’m hoping, given the news w/ ROH & his history working with EC3 already growing rapidly, we see both of them incoming before EC3 is let go in December, the two of them standing up to The Good Brothers would be an instant classic 👍
