6. Is John Skyler becoming Mr. BTI?
Since his big upset victory over the veteran Matt Cardona, John Skylar has slowly made a name for himself on BTI. And week by week, he’s had some impressive matches, especially against Laredo Kid. Although it was a loss, Skyler has made BTI feel important a must-watch to show the up and coming wrestlers on the roster.
5. Josh Alexander vs. Christian Cage is MONEY.
Since the start of the year, the world has been wondering who the Impact homegrown star will win the championship back for Impact. Josh Alexander’s rise in the singles division has been the perfect way to create a new main event talent. And if you look at the X-Division, Josh Alexander has been working his ass off to become the face of the company for a new era. For those in Vegas for Bound for Glory, I would put all my money on Josh Alexander.
4. Matt Striker’s long sentences are tiring to listen to.
This might not be a popular opinion, but Matt Striker is not the best commentator. He goes on and on with long metaphors that just make the watcher confused. Not saying that Impact fans are not intelligent but when you’re watching, wrestling do you want to think that much? Wrestling is an escape, not a college-level philosophy class.
3. IMPACT does Intergender Wrestling the right way.
One thing Impact has the advantage over other wrestling companies is delivering Intergender Wrestling. Whether it is Chelsea Green or Jordynne Grace, fans will see some great wrestling when Impact puts on Intergender wrestling. These matches are not comedic wrestling but actual one-on-one matches.
2. Brian Myers and The Learning Tree can be IMPACT, The Flock.
For those who are Brian Myers fans, it is well known that Myers is a huge Raven fan. And this Learning Tree has The Flock written all over it. Both had a serious lead with a goofy trio that looks like Raven and the BWO. This week Sam Beale cost Myers the match, but he did not take the pin. The ways they have been protecting Myers as of late it seems they have a lot of plans for him. Now that the Learning Tree has a name, maybe a vacant X-Division title is in his future?
1. Christopher Daniels is back!!!
Last week there was a takeaway saying that win or loss, Ace Austin will be a made man. When Christopher Daniels returned to Impact and had sights on Austin, that was what was meant by made man. This must set up Ace Austin vs. Christopher Daniels at Bound for Glory. It is so great to see Christopher Daniels back in the Impact Zone and his Bound for Glory appearance is the exact thing Impact needs to make their pay-per-view even better.
