7 Former Impact Stars to return by Slammiversary 2021?

Chelsea Green (Laurel Van Ness) – (2016 – 2018)
One of the many former Impact stars (including Mickie James, Samoa Joe, Okada) that appears on the Slammiversary trailer. Over the 2 years Chelsea Green officially signed with Impact (under the name Laurel Van Ness) having made several appearances at One Night Only events under her real name prior to finally being offered a contract to join Impact Wrestling. Her character development & direction was questionable to say the least, going from a very self entitled, spoilt daddy’s girl, often at the expense of Allie to one of the most hysterical & surprisingly entertaining character shifts I’ve seen, since I’ve been watching TNA/Impact (2015 onwards so not long in retrospect). But the shift in character to the psychotic bride covered up just how good of an up & coming wrestler Chelsea Green was at the time, if you could find any of her matches elsewhere.
While she left the company with some controversy, as she was intending to leave Impact at the end of her contract, but won the Knockouts title before she’d made the decision to leave clear, beating Rosemary for the vacated Knockouts title before then losing it to Allie at her final set of tapings, she wasn’t signed by the WWE until August 2018.
A return to Impact Wrestling either as the Bride like we’ve seen in the Slammiversary teasers or a step back to rebuild something new would be welcome. There’s a hell of a lot of potential to rectify a lot of lost opportunity should she return to Impact Wrestling, from unfinished business with the likes of Rosemary & Alisha Edwards to being that “missing link” to bring back & feuding with Su Yung, should she follow Eric Young’s example & return where set character left off.
