Heath (2020)
After 10 years of highs, lows, extreme lows, but nothing short of pure professionalism from start to finish at the WWE, Heath Miller, fka Heath Slater (Now just wrestling under his first name) managed to debut officially at Impact Wrestling in July declaring himself a free agent, ready to come into Impact but he would be escorted out of the building for retaliating to Rohit Raju’s provocation. Heath would return to answer Moose’s open challenge the TNA Heavyweight Title & after losing, Scott D’More would once again eject him from the building, stopping Rhino’s hopes of reuniting with his former tag partner until they set up the #Heath4Impact campaign which would eventually give Heath & Rhino a match against Reno Scum at Victory Road after winning Scott gave Heath a contract offer, which Heath subsequently tore up leaving him on thin ice & adding the stipulation to Bound For Glory’s Call Your Shot Gauntlet, if either Heath or Rhino didn’t win, Heath would be fired. As most of those who watch Impact can see, Rhino did win this match, but during this match Heath had injured himself & was written off after Violent By Design (Eric Young & Joe Doering) took him & Rhino out, before disbanding The Deaners.
Heath has recently undergone surgery (March 2nd 2021), the injury sustained had also affected previous injuries & after several months of searching he’s been able to undergo several operations to tackle all these problems with little delay in between to ensure that recovery goes as quick as possible, following him on social media you can see how well the physiotherapy he’s undergoing has gone & there is a slight chance he might be fit enough to return to the ring or at least start making his presence felt around Slammiversary to build onto that long awaited, much missed, return to the ring.
