Which TNA Originals could make their return?

Ever since we saw the crossover with AEW happen, there where many people who hoped to see a percentage of their roster turn up in Impact. The reason for this is that a good percentage of their roster has a big history within the company, then as the relationships grew with NJPW, AAA and now NWA there are many other wrestlers out there who could always make a return to the company.
We recently saw the return to Impact of Kazarian who himself said was a TNA original, he was a staple of helping build the X Division in the early days of the company. Even Jerry Lynn made a reappearance and if you want to talk pioneers of the X Division then look no further. We then saw Christian Cage become the new Impact world champion and announced to be coming into Impact once again. While Christian wasn’t an original he definitely was someone who helped move TNA to that next level when he was there last time.
With so many great returns already happened (or in the works) it does make things very interesting and nostalgic, what other original talents would be great to get back into Impact for maybe an odd match or even a good set of taping like we saw with Omega? Lets have a look at few.
5. Ken Shamrock
When you talk about historic names and people who are synonymous with companies, Ken Shamrock will always be synonymous with TNA for one very important reason, he was the very first world champion. Obviously at the time it was still the NWA title so he is not the first NWA champion, nor is he the first TNA champion as they didn’t introduce they’re own title till 2007. However in the company he is always noted as the first man to win the world heavyweight title and that will never change.
Shamrock made a return to the company in 2019 and had a pretty decent run, the man is in amazing shape and can still flat out perform in the ring. Shamrock having main event pedigree always helps and over his run he showed that he’s decent in a tag team, so anything that he’s handed he will be able to make work and make sure you notice something from that match to remember.
The strange thing with Shamrock was his exit earlier this year. He was indefinitely suspended by Scott D’Amore for attacking security, however that was over 7 months ago and since then his profile has been removed from the roster. It was a strange way to write him off (if it was a write off), but there’s a lot he can still offer and they’ve left a door open with the story. This will be interesting to watch.
