We are upon the second biggest Premium Event of the WWE schedule, Summerslam. With all the controversy surrounding the company it’s actually nice to have a pretty stacked show to look forward to. This is a very solid card and with Triple H in charge who knows what changes could be made to some of the match outcomes that weren’t in the cards at first. Me and my RSH crew did our prediction show on Wednesday and gave our picks and predictions for the event and we all actually agreed on almost everything. I am going to give you our picks and predictions and make sure to check the bottom of the page and check out our latest episode of RSH where we discuss HHH in charge, Tony Khan being ignorant and our Summerslam picks in depth. Happy reading!

Undisputed Universal Championship Last Man Standing Match: (c) Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar

The Pick: Roman Reigns

This is pretty easy. Lesnar fresh off his “walk out” of Smackdown this past Friday just feels like he’s at the end of his rope with WWE at least until Wrestlemania. Reigns is still firing on all cylinders and losing to Brock here makes zero sense. I also see no cash in from Theory as I feel it’s way too soon and the briefcase has more value being teased over the next few months rather than cashing in on Reigns. There will be a time when Reigns loses the belts and Theory cashes in but this isn’t the time.

WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship: (c) Liv Morgan vs Ronda Rousey

The Pick: Liv Morgan leaves with the championship

It is WAY too early to take the strap off of Liv. This is a decision I could see being made if Vince was still in charge as he liked to play hot potato with the titles sometimes. I however don’t see a clean win here as much as Liv deserves it. A Charlotte and/or Bayley return to cause a DQ to me is the most likely outcome here. I think WWE wants to limit how many times Rousey loses clean to keep her filling important but the good news is Liv will leave Nashville still Smackdown Women’s Champion.

WWE Raw Women’s Championship: (c) Bianca Belair vs Becky Lynch

The Pick: Bianca Belair

It’s time for Bianca to get her receipt. Bell rings Bianca hits the KOD 1…..2……3. I’m calling it in less than 10 seconds. Becky can continue her spiraling out of control going forward and it opens up Bianca for the match with Rhea that Rhea had earned before her injury and other superstars such as Alexa Bliss to join the title picture.

WWE USA Championship: (c) Bobby Lashley vs Theory

The Pick: Bobby Lashley

Theory is fueding with pretty much the whole roster at this point. Putting the US title back on him after just taking it off him makes little to zero sense here. I expect a very competitive match between these two with Theory trying some underhanded tactics to win and a Dolph Ziggler to come out to distract him costing him the match. I feel like Theory vs Ziggler is inevitable at this point. Lashley continues his reign as he looks to make the US title relevant again.

Pat McAfee vs Happy Corbin

The Pick: Pat McAfee

This is my choice of match to steal the show. Pat McAfee is the best signing in professional wrestling in the last 5 years. Yeah go ahead, read that again. The dude brings a huge following, is amazing athletically in the ring and is easily the best announcer in the company. The dude has been money. Corbin is a very good underrated worker and these two guys will tear it up Saturday. McAfee winning makes the most sense here as a loss to Corbin doesn’t really hurt him. McAfee and Corbin will be the match everyone is talking about late Saturday night after Summerslam is over.

WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship: (c) The Usos vs The Street Profits Special Referee: Jeff Jarrett

The Pick: The Usos

Out of all the title matches this one was the closest to call. The Street Profits have been firing on all cylinders lately but the Usos are the Usos. I honestly don’t know what role Jeff Jarrett even plays here but with him typically being a heel I feel it benefits the Usos. There is also the possibility that Dawkins or Ford turn on one another. I just feel there are too many factors here to predict a Street Profit win. Usos win a competitive and solid match to continue their reign over the WWE tag division.

Logan Paul vs The Miz

The Pick: Logan Paul

It’s the celebrity match of the night. Logan Paul wins this then right? Paul is very good in the ring surprisingly as he impressed the hell out of me at Wrestlemania. Now that he is full time and actually dedicating all his time to the ring I just expect him to get better and better. Ciampa at ringside is the only thing that could help Miz pick up the win but a loss to Miz doesn’t even touch him as this guy is bulletproof. The only two time grand slam champion in WWE loses a very entertaining match against Paul who continues his impressive start to his WWE career.

Seth Rollins vs ?

The Pick: Whoever Seth Faces

Remember Wrestlemania when Seth didn’t have an opponent? How did that work out? Amazing!!! Their are so many potential opponents for Seth here. A returning Fiend? Johnny Gargano? AJ Styles? His BFF Kevin Owens? John Cena? Who knows? Our prediction is either Gargano or The Fiend in which Seth can play the ” I didn’t know who to prepare for card” and take the loss. I’m praying for The Fiend as I feel he was wasted last time he was with WWE. That character has a chance to be the biggest in wrestling and with Hunter back in charge I feel he can reach that potential. They took Riddle out of the match for a reason, lets hope it was a smart one.

No Disqualification Tag Match: The Mysterios vs The Judgment Day

The Pick: The Mysterios

The Edge factor dictates the outcome of this match. We have all seen the vignettes of him regarding his return ever since he got kicked out of the group he created. This is one of those simple the bad guys got the upper hand, the returning good guy comes back and costs them the match. Plus, the Judgment Day just beat the hell out of Rey for most of Monday Night Raw so giving them a win here would kind of ease that pain. Mysterios win and Edge returns to start a feud with Finn Balor.
