CM Punk made his long-awaited return to professional wrestling, debuting in All Elite Wrestling on the “First Dance” episode of AEW Rampage.

This marks CM Punk’s first official professional wrestling appearance since he was on the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 26, 2014. He returned to WWE as an analyst role on WWE Backstage that began in November 2019. Punk made sporadic appearances on the show, which was ultimately cancelled in June 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Punk made it clear that he is back and he is not going anywhere else. He cuts a promo about how he left professional wrestling back in 2005 when he left Ring of Honor for WWE and now he is back with professional wrestling.

Punk made it clear that he is here for the young talent and Darby Allin is the first on his list and he will fight him on September 5th, 2021 at AEW All Out.
