WWE SummerSlam 2021 Full Results

KICK OFF:

Big E vs Baron Corbin

Big E gets to make the first entrance of the night to a very live crowd that is very much behind him.  Corbin makes his way out afterwards, clutching the MITB briefcase very close to his chest and Big E is not wanting to wait for this match to start.  And when the bell finally rings, Big E charges and starts pummeling Corbin in the corner.  Corbin looked like he might turn the tides with a shoulder block but Big E hits multiple suplexes on Corbin before dragging him over to the apron where he would miss the big splash.  Corbin would follow up by smashing Big E’s head on the ring post and start looking for a count out victory.  Big E climbs back in at 8 and is met with Corbin throwing him shoulder first in the ring post three consecutive times before getting a 2 count. 

Corbin would get some more offense in on Big E before getting another 2 count.  Big E would start to fight back and get Corbin in a stretch muffler but after escaping the hold, Baron would hit Big E for a Deep Six followed by another 2 count.  Corbin would go out to grab the brief case which distracted him long enough for Big E to get back to his feet and start getting in offense.  Baron tries to escape but gets a tackle in to the barracades.  Corbin then gets a spear from the apron, still holding on to the briefcase.  Big E picks him up and throws him in the ring to hit the Big Ending and get the pinfall victory.  After the match, Big E would get his hands back on the briefcase and the celebration would begin.

Winner: Big E
