Eddie Edwards Vs. Satoshi Kojima

Impact kicks off with the former partners of last week facing off in friendly competition. As Satoshi Kojima waits for Eddie Edwards’ arrival, W. Morrissey shows up on the screen and tells him he attacked Edwards in the parking lot.

Winner: N/A

Outcomes Brian Myers and his student Sam Beale attack Kojima and Jake Something arrives for the save, but they retreat. Before they could get to the back, Impact officials tell Myers and Beale they will be facing Kojima and something in an impromptu tag team match.

Satoshi Kojima & Jake Something vs. Brian Myers & Sam Beale

For not wanting to be in the match Sam Beale and Brian Myers have the advantage a majority of the match. Myers spends most of the match trash-talking Something as his student Beale does a majority of the work. Finally, Kojima comes in and does all his hits like the Machine Gun Chops, Elbow Drop, and Koji Cutter on Beale to win the match with a Lariat. Great opener for Impact shows that Beale can hang in the ring with anyone, especially a legend like Kojima.

Backstage: Gia Miller gets a work Scott D’Amore his thoughts on Anthem sending Tommy Dreamer. D’Amore acts busy and tries to leave but finds a Tarot card in his pocket, which brings Havok and Rosemary. They want to be the next Knockouts to represent the tag division. D’Amore tries to leave quickly and says yes, they can have an opportunity at the tag titles.

Tenille Dashwood w/ Kaleb with a K vs. Rachael Elering w/ Jazz

Before the bell rings, Tenille Dashwood tries to take out Rachael Ellering quickly, starting the match more aggressively. But Ellering has no time for that as she brings her own aggression. After weeks of attempting to be friends, Dashwood is not playing friendly in this match. A more serious side rarely seen by Dashwood. But with a reversal into a roll-up, Ellering picks up the win. Immediately Dashwood attacks Ellering, Jazz tries to stop them, but Kaleb, with a K, stops her. Jordynne Grace comes out for a save, and Ellering extends her hand. Grace slaps the hand and instead hugs her. The former tag champions are on the same page after weeks of not being on the same page.

Winner: Rachael Ellering

Backstage: Gia Miller asks Chris Bey that last he was instigator than being in a neutral corner. The alliance of Ace Austin, Madman Fulton, Rohit Raju, and Shera come out to tell him they understand and thank him for staying in his lane, and ask him to stay out of the way because Slammiversary will not be his night.

TJP & Fallah Bahh vs. Rich Swann & Willie Mack

TJP and Rich Swann start the match with their athleticism until a stalemate has the bigger team members enter the match. Deaner attacks Swann from behind, and the rest of the members of Violent by Design come out to attack their potential challengers, causing a disqualification. Rich Swann dives outside, knocking out everyone in the match.

Winners: Rich Swann & Willie Mack via Disqualification

Backstage: Fire N’ Flava are upset and don’t understand why Havok and Rosemary have jumped the line and demanded Tag Title matches right away. They find Scott D’Amore to complain, and he tells them that Havok and Rosemary will be in a match next week and evaluated for their tag title opportunities.

Backstage: Gia Miller interviews Tommy Dreamer and his hand-picked team Moose, Sami Callihan, and Chris Sabin. He motivates them even though they all hate each other, but they have to come together to defeat the common foes of Kenny Omega and the Good Brothers. They all agree in their own words.

Chris Bey vs. Petey Williams

The X-Division’s past meets its future in a great back and forth contest. When he puts Bey in a Tree of Woe fitting, Petey Williams sings the Canadian national anthem that fits Canada Day. So many Canadian Destroyer teases throughout the match, but instead, Canada’s other favorite move comes out the Sharpshooter. Bey hits a cutter to set up the Art of Finnesser to pin the former X-Division champion. The alliance of Ace Austin, Madman Fulton, Rohit Raju, and Shera looks like they’re cornering Bey but instead attack Williams. They allow Bey to leave the ring, but Trey Miguel and Josh Alexander come out to help Williams. Bey is conflicted and finally runs to the ring and attacks Shera, Fulton, and Raju, leaving Austin alone. Now that Bey surprisingly joins Alexander, Miguel, and Williams shows a different side of the Ultimate Finesser.

Winner: Chris Bey

Backstage: Susan is freaking out with Kimber Lee after their two losses against Deonna Purrazzo. Lee tells her they could go for the Knockout Tag Team Championships or use the backup plan, Su Yung. Susan replies, “Who’s That?”


Backstage: Jake Something calls out Brian Myers for making fun of his name last week. He says he could make fun of his name but not his character. He challenges him to match where whoever losses must call the winner a professional.

Steve Maclin vs. Manny Smith

Steve Maclin means business when the bell rings, controlling Manny Smith the whole match. Maclin has a crazy look in his eyes when he puts Smith in a Tree of Woe and begins to kick him up a spear in the corner. Maclin does nonstop elbow to neck to set up a high-angle reverse DDT to get his second win in the company.

Winner: Steve Maclin

Backstage: Sam Beale introduces his teacher Brian Myers. Myers accepts Jake Something’s challenge, and he knows he is a professional, but he wants Beale to hear Something call Myers he’s professional.

Kenny Omega & The Good Brothers w/ Don Callis vs. Sami Callihan, Chris Sabin & Moose w/ Tommy Dreamer

Karl Anderson and D.O.C Gallows come out wearing Kenny Omega’s TNA and AEW championship. And Don Callis wears the AAA Mega Championship to introduce the real champion wearing his Impact World Championship. The unlikely tag partners are having no problems taking out The Good Brothers as Omega stays away from his next opponent, Callihan. Funny to point out that Omega would only tag himself in when Sabin was in the match. Sabin finally breaks free to get a tag, but Moose moves away, purposely staying out of the match. Sabin takes out the entire team but Moose blind tags himself. He brings Sabin back in the ring and walks away from his partners. Callis shoves Dreamer into Moose, who thinks it was on purpose. Magic Killer on Sabin allowing Omega and The Good Brothers to win the match while Moose stares from the center of the stage.

Winners: Kenny Omega & The Good Brothers
