Adam Cole Vs. Kyle ‘O’ Reilly – 2 out of 3 falls match
First fall: Singles match
This started with one of the best made NXT promotional packages they’ve made in the past
year. Also love that NXT went minimalist with the entrances just displaying their names on a
black background as they made their way to the ring.
Starting strong and as soon as the bell rings. Fast and furious in O’Reilly’s favor to start until
Adam catches him quick. Trying to use the steps early Cole gets his Brain buster countered into
one of Kyle’s own. These guys have amazing chemistry can’t be said enough. O’Reilly takes the
first fall with a roll up countering a Panama Sunrise.
Winner of 1st fall: Kyle ‘O’ Reily
2nd Fall: Street Fight
To the outside!!! Crowd chanting we want tables immediately. Kyle sits Cole in a chair and puts
a trash can over the top of him, then dropkicks off the apron caving in the Can. Cole takes
control after a superkick to the knee as O’Reilly lands hard on his ribs. Focus the ribs is Adam
Cole’s MO now. Adam Cole does Britt Baker’s LockJaw even! (Teasy Adam) O’Reilly gets some
offense in finally as he still sells the ribs.
This flurry leads to a Double Down spot after both men
hit a pump kick. FUCK KYLE YOUR BACK MATE!!! Last Shot from Adam Cole after throwing
Kyle from the top onto two chairs set up back to back gets the second fall.
Winner of 2nd fall: Adam Cole
3rd Fall: Steel Cage:
Adam Cole takes Kyle out before the cage lowers and powerbombs him on the announcer table
before the bell. Cole gives Kyle no reprieve and just starts tossing him into the cage. But
O’Reilly comes back repeatedly driving forearms into Cole against the cage. Missed diving knee
from O’Reilly, missed last Shot from Cole, then a Last shot from O’Reilly. Low blow from Cole as
he tries to climb the cage. Panama Sunrise from Cole but a 2.75 kick out. Adam Cole handcuffs
Kyle to the top rope. But still gets caught by the heel hook for the Kyle O’Reilly win.
Winner of 3rd & Final fall: Kyle ‘O’ Reily
