Karrion Kaross (c) Vs. Samoa Joe – NXT Championship
Woooooo Momma I cannot tell you how excited I am for this. This promo package gives me
such hype, I want nothing more than for Joe to beat the hell out of Kross. Kross’s entrance
doesn’t feel right without Scarlett.
Joe’s opening offense is nice and crisp. I’ve missed this man and he’s missed the ring. Quick
Coquina Clutch, Kross gets to the ropes. Using this rope break catches Joe with the doomsday
Saito suplex and the forearm to the back of the head. Kross takes control. Joe mounts a
comeback but gets caught with another doomsday Saito suplex. Joe rolls out if an ankle lock
then goes flying with a Tope Suicida. Kross gets some big strikes in the corner then another
variation of a suplex. Joe hits a big powerbomb pin combo where on the 2 count he transitions
into an STF. Losing grip on this he again transitions into a crossface. Kross gets to the ropes.
Joe starting to look a little winded, this allows Kross to once again take advantage.
This match
is very back and forth as Joe catches Kross with a belly to belly overhead. Joe hits a big
combination of moves as it leads to a two count. Joe gets the Coquina Clutch in deep. But
Kross rolls through and gets the Kross Jacket. Joe gets out but gets caught with the forearm to
the back again. Kross goes to the top but this was a very poor decision! Joe hits the enziguri
and OH MY GOD MUSCLE BUSTER!!! The first ever three time NXT Champion in Samoa Joe
as he beats Karrion Kross. This match was very fun very very good main event!
