NXT Takeover: In Your House 2021 Full Results – 13th June 2021

Bronson Reed & MSK vs. Legado del Fantasma (Winner Take All Six-Man Tag)

Great athleticism starts the match when the set of tag teams show off their impressive high-flying skills. Reed looks like a monster how he handles Legado Del Fantasma, who cannot take the big man down. MSK and Reed pull out some unique trios offense throughout the match. Even though he is no cruiserweight, Reed fits right in with the high-flying when he hits a suicide dive to clear out everyone.

But of course, it is the actual trio Legado Del Fantasma who keeps the match in their favor, but every time they think they have the titles, Reed comes in. The match starts to pick up when Escobar hits a crazy Michinoku Driver, and the tag teams hit so many close calls. Reed bulldozes Escobar through the barricade. In the ring, MSK hits their finisher to set up the Tsunami to retain their there titles.

Winner: Bronson Reed & MSK still NXT Tag Team and North American Champions

Xia Li vs Mercedes Martinez

This bout started off with Li in the advantage with the match focused around the use of the ring pole. Li uses it on Martinez until the veteran manages to use it in her favour.

Li worked on Mercedes mid-section and Mercedes on Li’s leg. Countering an Air Raid Crash, Mercedes was hit with Xia’a spin kick for the 3 count.

After the match Xia got a chair but her attempt was thwarted by a defiant Mercedes. Martinez attacked Boa and Xia but the chair did not damage Tian Shaw who threw her over the barricade.

At less than 8 minutes, Xia did look strong in winning but I feel this perhaps should have gone on a little longer

Winner: Xia Li

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars

Cameron Grimes vs. LA Knight (Ladder Match for the Million Dollar Championship)

The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase introduces the Million Dollar Championship to descend it above the ring. Interestingly, this match has a Money in the Bank, and title ladder match feel where fans see the belt inside the briefcase for the first time. Fitting for a title so expensive it has to be inside a case. The crowd favors Cameron Grimes, whose obnoxious character has become a fan favorite since the public has returned. Knight brings the pain to Grimes, tossing him all over the outside of the ring.

The most painful spot occurs when Knight hits a Neckbreaker on the side of the ladder. Grimes brings out the golden ladder to almost win the match, but Knight ends his momentum, pushing him off the ladder. Grimes climbs the top of the arena structure, sacrificing his body with a splash. Screaming to the moon, Grimes is so close in winning the title. But Knight throws him into the ladder bridge he set up to win the Million Dollar Championship. This match looked like it would be Grimes crowning achievement as a babyface, but it gives LA Knight his most significant win since debuting in NXT.

Winner: New Million Dollar Championship LA Knight

Raquel Gonzalez vs. Ember Moon: NXT Women’s Champion

Moon uses her speed to keep Gonzalez down right off the bat. But the power of Gonzalez has the advantage of stretching Moon and slamming her all over the place. Moon’s variation of the STF submission is an incredible sight, but the x-factor of the match Dakota Kai is not afraid to get involved in helping her partner. There were few close calls of seeing a two-time NXT women’s champion when Moon hit two eclipses almost to get the win, but again Kai interferes. Shotzi Blackheart makes a surprise return to take out Kai from the match. After a DDT to the outside, Moon sets up another Eclipse, but Gonzalez’s strength wraps around Moon to set up the Single-Arm Powerbomb to retain her title.

Winner: Still NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez
