AEW has been dealing with a lot of injuries lately. Most of their top talents are injured and out of action for several months including Bryan Danielson, Jungle Boy, CM Punk, Adam Cole and many more. One of the top face of AEW is Kenny Omega and he’s been out of action since last November. Omega took a lengthy leave to recover from multiple injuries. Now, reports are suggesting that Omega is very close to return to the company and get involved in a major angle.

According to Fightful, tentative plans for Omega to return to AEW is before All Out PPV in early September, and get invloved in a 6 man tag program with Young Bucks. Nothing is confirmed yet, but Omega is pretty close to make his much awaited return.

“Fightful Select has learned that the tentative plans that certain staff was made aware of was that Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks were slated for a 6-man tag program for September’s All Out PPV. We’ve yet to confirm this with AEW officials, and anything could change, as is the nature of pro wrestling. There have been heavy changes and adjustments to the AEW tag team title scene in the past two months due to injuries and Jeff Hardy’s DUI.”

Omega last wrestled his match against Adam Page at AEW Full Gear PPV where he lost his AEW World Title to Page. Now, we just have to wait and watch when ‘The Cleaner’ will arrive in Tony Khan’s company.
