Hello & welcome to a brand new edition of The WB Weekly Report.

We at Wrestlebuddy compile our list regarding professional wrestling’s five biggest headlines. It’s been another busy yet exciting week with the latest rumors in wrestling.

Tyler Peters here; Let’s discuss the Top-5!!!

1-Jey Vs. Roman at SummerSlam:

The Bloodline Civil War residual proceeded after last week’s Money In The Bank PLE in London. Jimmy & Jey Uso defeated Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa. What symbolized malevolence for Jey included pinning ‘ The Tribal Chief, ‘ generating historical implications regarding him and his brother (Jimmy). WWE returned to Madison Square Garden this Friday evening. A Tribal Court occurred as the Usos’ called for Reigns’ answer concerning a monumental loss. It appeared on Friday Night SmackDown that Roman Reigns was coronating Jey Uso to be the new Tribal Chief.

The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion swerved us all after bowing down to Jey & by low-blowing him. Reigns & Solo brawled with their family. They injured Jimmy & put him in an ambulance. Later, Paul Heyman informed Roman about Jey coming back for vengeance. Three of the remaining Bloodline members stood in the ring. Reigns couldn’t finish his promo because Jey interrupts & attacks both Sikoa along with Roman. Jey ends up punishing Solo via the steel chair as Reigns manages to escape. Jey challenges his cousin for the Championship!!!

2-Lesnar returns:

Combat sport’s most decorated athlete & former WWE Champion returned on Raw this Monday Night as it emanated live from Baltimore, Maryland. The Beast interrupted Cody Rhode’s challenge to World Champion Seth ” Freakin ” Rollins. Both have unfinished business that needs resolving & Cody would bring the fight to Lesnar as each brawled in the aisle with a Cody Cutter taking his opponent down.

It began as Brock Lesnar turned on ” The American Nightmare ” regarding the Raw after WrestleMania 39. The second-generation star defeated Lesnar at Backlash in May & Brock triumphed over Rhodes via Night of Champions. Cody made his intentions clear about fighting the Beast anytime.

3-Edge Returns:

Grayson Waller invited WWE Hall of Famer Edge to guest on his new talk show-inspired segment titled ” The Grayson Waller Effect ” on Friday Night SmackDown from MSG in New York City! The Rated R Superstar agitated Waller for not announcing the big news.

The arrogant Aussie implied retirement & gets embarrassed by his response & told him, ” You have doggy paddle your way into deep waters. Edge continued, ” I’m not retiring & we’re having a match tonight.” The Hall of Famer defeats Waller & grabs a microphone afterward to inform Waller that he swam tonight for his debut bout.

4-Moxley challenging Sanada for the IWGP Title:

AEW star Jon Moxley wants to create additional history after winning a Final Death Match at NJPW Strong Independence Day. Tokyo Sports interviewed him about his aspirations of becoming the next IWGP World Heavyweight Champion & wants to challenge the current title holder, Sanada.

If Moxley is prosperous in defeating Sanada to be IWGP Champion, & accomplishes something that no one else has with achievements like capturing both the WWE & AEW World titles but not the IWGP belt. If he gets an opportunity to fight Sanada, I imagine myself as the IWGP Champion- so it might be interesting.”

5-WWE teasing Wyatt’s Return:

WWE seems to hint at the return of Bray Wyatt. Wrestling news outlets are reporting as Xero News & others feel a rearrival will happen shortly & WWE keeps alluding to such gossip. He’s a misunderstood enigma to traditional wrestling thinkers despite being the son of Mike Rotunda, nephew of Barry Windham, & grandson of Blackjack Mulligan. Wyatt understands a modern approach that clashes with old-school fans & those who remain set in their ways concerning his unique creativity. I say that respectfully. Some viewers are enamored or conflicted by Bray’s interesting yet bizarre persona.

WWE is getting in on the fun & could they just be swerving us & maybe Wyatt being on their media is merely a coincidence. Also, he’s still under contract. Many perceive that Wyatt’s character “The Fiend” will return at SummerSlam. WWE lists Fiend in Bray’s bio on their roster page. WWE released a reel on their official Instagram dating back to SummerSlam 2020 when Roman Reigns attacked The Fiend. Its caption read- “The Moment WWE Changed Forever!!! “

Does Bray Wyatt return to WWE!!!
