8. Dolph Ziggler vs. Cesaro: 2 out of 3 Falls Match: WWE Intercontinental Championship: Hell in a Cell 2014

2014 is quite an underrated year for both of these men. Cesaro would win the first-ever Andre the Giant memorial battle royal, and from the Summer into the Fall, Ziggler would have an impressive Intercontinental title reign. This match starts with some old school grappling with each competitor move for move countering each other. Ziggler snuck the first pinfall with a small package coming out of nowhere. In the second fall, Ziggle busts out an extraordinary Tilt-A-Whirl into a sleeper hold where Cesaro reverses that into a Superplex.

Ziggler has a clean sweep when he hits a Superkick into the Zig-Zag combination. Many say the Intercontinental Championship in the modern era does not have its prestige, but this is a prime example of a great one that does not recognize it deserves. The fans are loud and invested; these two pull out all the stops to kick off this show.
