4. Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch: WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship: Hell in a Cell 2018
The series of events that follows this match is historic on its own. So when talking about the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, Becky Lynch winning the Smackdown Women’s Championship. The video package is extraordinary to see Becky Lynch not referred to as “The Man” but significant nonetheless. The “Becky” chants begin and tease that this crowd is ready to see Lynch become the biggest star in the world. Lynch dissects the arm of Flair, having the matching favor Lynch a majority of the match and leading to a big reaction when Lynch drops Flair’s shoulder into the apron. The crowd is in it for every big moment, knowing that Lynch should win and hesitate to doubt Flair.
The match ends out of nowhere with Lynch reversing a spear into the three counts. Fans are on their feet, shocked how it ended that but loving the results.
