1-Jimmy betrays Jey at SummerSlam? Kevin Nash comments on LA Knight:
Sportskeeda published an article referencing a top name returning to help Roman Reigns defeat Jey Uso via SummerSlam!
Rumors suggest Jey will challenge The Tribal Chief at next month’s PLE. Some believe Jimmy Uso comes back to attack his brother, which assists Roman in retaining the title. Recently on SmackDown, Reigns & Solo injured Jimmy by sending him to a hospital. Would Jimmy blame Jey for that & giving Jimmy motivation when betraying Jey? The Uso’s could feud because of it.
Jey discussed their closeness regarding Friday Night SmackDown when he disrespected Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman & Solo Sikoa interrupted. Heyman blamed Jey for his brother’s (Jimmy’s) punishment. Solo spoke to Jey about what happened. Jey brawls with Solo but takes both Sikoa & Heyman out. WWE announced the Rules of Engagement. Roman confronts Jey on SmackDown next week.
A few weeks ago, WWE Hall of Famer commented on current star LA Knight via his popular KlIQ This Podcast with Sean Oliver. ( Paraphrased) Nash said Knight was a ripoff of The Rock & referred to his promo on Logan Paul pre-Money In The Bank as nothing original. Nash wondered if amnesia caused this kind of thinking. While speaking on a more recent episode, The former WWE Champion stated; that he’s never seen the character on television.
Nash addressed people claiming he buried Knight. He thought it was a rib ( The Knight promo against Logan Paul regarding that go-home edition of Raw before MITB & didn’t see any originality while never seeing him work. Nash remarked on the worst-case scenario- somebody will say, ” Nash bashed him & if he’s over, then the people will be well, we like him anyway. They’ll push him harder & we’ll show you & the people will get with Knight more, thus continuing that veteran wrestlers aren’t holding the younger wrestlers down. “
2-AEW becoming PG
Per-Fightful- AEW released the List of Moves that are banned or need clearance.
“- Spots and bumps on the ring apron and outside
– Table/ladder/chair spots in and out of the ring (Only allowed with padding)
– Any elevated spots outside of the barricades (dives and ladder spots on stage, around the arena, and other places outside of the ring)
– All piledriver/tombstone variations, including: sit down drivers, inverted/poison hurricanrana
and vertebreakers
– High-risk dives or top rope moves (450, 630, double moonsaults, SSP, etc.) Intentional bleeding (of any sort, not just blading)
– Throwing people into/through/over ring steps, commentary table, bell table, or guardrails/barricades Weapon usage:
– Chairs, pipes, kendo sticks, hammers, ring bells, bats, chains, etc. Title belts
– Thumbtacks, skewers, barbed wire, and other sharp/puncturing objects o Powders, aerosol sprays, or liquids
– Throwing any weapons or objects- chairs, etc.
– Choking/strangling with hands or a weapon or hanging spots
– Injury spots or angles, whether or not medical is involved/called to the ring
– Any physicality in the crowd or crowd brawling
– Any physicality involving referees, managers, extras, celebrities, or special guests. “
3-The Golden Elite/Pac Returns
Don Callis announced the fifth member of BCC ( Blackpool Combat Club) on this week’s AEW Dynamite. PAC returned to attack Kenny Omega by revealing himself as their 5th man!!! Omega informs Jon Moxley they have a fifth person too. A video appears on the screen. Kota Ibushi joins The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson), Adam “Hangman” Page, & Omega to form ‘ The Golden Elite!!! These teams collide at Blood & Guts. It emanates live on July 19th in Boston’s TD Garden.
4-Hurt Business 2.0 Loading/ Grayson Waller calls out The Rock/ The Judgement Day comes to NXT
Friday Night SmackDown featured The Street Profits- Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins await this man in a limo. Bobby Lashley stepped out to meet them & asked, ” Ready to go talk? ” They all enter the limo, then exit the area. What are those discussions about? Is ‘The Hurt Business’ reforming with Bobby Lashley, The Street Profits, Omos, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander, & MVP? It appears so.
Reworded-After Rock responded to Grayson Waller on Twitter. Waller addressed it. Everyone talks about him (The Rock. ) Every week (his family implodes but remains worried about me & is desperate for that Grayson Waller rub and knows where to find him! ”
The Judgement Day came to NXT Tuesday night with Finn Balor telling NXT that Daddy’s home & it’s the house he built. Then the NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams interrupt by challenging Damian Priest & Finn Balor. The Prince (Balor) warns them & Judgement Day defeats Hayes & Williams.
5-Impact News (Slammiversary Surprises and Returns)
IMPACT Wrestling presented Slammivesary 2023 live from St. Clair, Windsor, Ontario Canda, Saturday Night-July 15th. Kenny King won the Digital Media Championship. Jake Something returned to compete in the Ultimate X matchup. Masha Slamovich & Killer Kelly become the new Knockouts Tag Team Champions after defeating The Coven ( KiLynn King & Taylor Wilde. NHL Legend Darren McCarty was appointed special enforcer for this tag-team bout featuring Eric Young teaming up with Scott D’Amore (Team Canada reunites) faces Bully Ray & Cody Deaner w Kon. Team Canada attains victory. A1 gets involved. Kushida wins Ultimate X.
Lio Rush is the new X-Division Champion triumphing over Chris Sabin. (Subculture-Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster with Dani Luna are-new Impact World Tag Team Champions. Trinity wins Knockouts World Title. IWGP World Champion Sanada returns at Emergence on August 27th in Toronto. Alex Shelley retains Impact World Title!
