WWE NXT Worlds Collide Picks & Predictions

We are at the annual WWE NXT Worlds Collide Premium Event and this year it’s more different than ever. If you didn’t know NXT UK is now no more and some of the wrestlers were released, some are on the main roster and some are in NXT. Well with adding wrestlers especially ones with championships you need to unify. Insert Breakker vs Bate. The UK champion vs the NXT champion. Rose. Davenport. Satomura. Rose being the NXT Women’s Champion and Satomura being the UK Women’s champion. NXT events especially Premium Events are always great and I can’t wait to see these two matches and everything else on the card. Especially the new matches just added! But before we watch it I’m going to predict it. These are my picks and predictions for the WWE NXT Worlds Collide Premium Event.

WWE NXT & UK Men’s Championship Unification Match: (c) Bron Breakker vs (c) Tyler Bate

Winner: Bron Breakker

This was a hard one for me to pick but with Triple H loading up the main roster right now with talent that was released I don’t see Breakker going to Raw or Smackdown anytime soon so why take the belt off of him? Remember just because Bate loses here doesn’t mean the feud ends either. This could be a good few month feud. Bate is crazy in the ring for being only 25 and has a huge future in WWE I just feel like after a great match Breakker will be the one walking away with both the WWE NXT and NXT UK World Championships.

WWE NXT & UK Women’s Championship Unification Match: (c) Mandy Rose vs Blair Davenport vs (c) Meiko Satomura

Winner: Mandy Rose

I don’t know why but I thought Mandy would lose to Satomura here but I have this feeling in my gut that Rose somehow wins here. I think Davenport is in this match to take the pin. I’m not saying she’s not going to have a good showing but I also believe WWE don’t want Rose or Satomura taking a pin or submission here. I expect this to be a good match and them to highlight the unbelievable ability of Satomura and I expect the match to be controlled by her for the most part but I do have Rose sneaking away with the win here. With Toxic Attraction not yet headed to the main roster it just makes sense to keep the belt on Mandy for now, until she faces Zoey again.

NXT North American Championship: (c) Carmelo Hayes vs Richochet

Winner: Carmelo Hayes

Banger. Banger. Banger. This was a great surprise to see Richochet on NXT this past week. This match is going to steal the show and it’s not even debatable. This match is going to as the kids say… hump. Hayes is a future star and Richochet is rejuvenated ever since Triple H took over. He just looks happier and he’s finally being featured on TV. Hayes will win a classic here. This is a match that we will look at in December when we talk about match of the year. This will be one of those matches for sure. If you don’t know now you know and Carmelo Hayes will walk out still WWE NXT North American champion and is still the A champ on NXT.

WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship: (c) Katana Chance & Kayden Carter vs Nikki ASH & Doudrop

Winner: Katana Chance and Kayden Carter

This match will showcase the strengths of Carter and Chance and having Doudrop and Nikki being the ones to face them makes alot of sense. A title change here makes zero sense. I feel they just put some main roster people on here to get some names people know to put some more eyeballs on the show. I’m sure the match will be fine but Carter and Chance will walk out still WWE NXT Tag Team champions.

WWE NXT & UK Tag Team Championship Unification Match Fatal 4 Way: (c) Creed Brothers vs Pretty Deadly vs Gallus vs (c) Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen

Winner: The Creed Brothers

The Creed Brothers are on their way to being the best tag team in the world. Read that again. Read it one more time. Now that you understand that let me explain why. Unless Roderick Strong costs them the belts which would further the tension in Diamond Mine then it makes no sense to take the belts off the Creeds. If you do call them up and get Usos vs Creed Bros going ASAP. Who on the earth doesn’t want to see that and there have even been hints of it on NXT where the Creeds have mentioned them. This should be a really good match but the Creed Brothers are going to be walking out both UK and NXT Tag Team champions.
