Hell In A Cell has seen its fair share of good matches but also…yeah.

7. The Undertaker vs Shane McMahon (WrestleMania 32)

There have been few WrestleMania Hell In A Cell matches (we’ll get to another one later), and this match is a prime example of why.

The longest match on the card, this was a boring 30-minute slug of a match between a non-wrestler and an ageing Undertaker. There were 3 big moments in this match wedged between lackluster action. These moments were a botched low-blow Coast to Coast, a big double crash through the announce table and the memorable Shane dive off the top of the cell through a table right in front of his children. Whilst the last was one was very good, it was slightly spoiled by Michael Cole yelling: “For the love of Mankind” off of a script. Take nothing away from the McMahon child for performing the spot though.

Perhaps the most confusing part about this was the storyline. Vince McMahon did not allow Shane to run the company so hired The Undertaker to fight for him, The Undertaker agreed. Why? Who knows why. Shane-O-Mac lost the bout at ‘Mania but was allowed to run weekly programming for a week. This week subsequently turned into years as Shane was allowed to run things despite him losing, so the stipulation was made pointless in the end. Head-scratching stuff from start to finish.
