10 WORST Hell In A Cell Matches

Hell In A Cell has seen its fair share of good matches but also…yeah.

5. Mark Henry vs Randy Orton (Hell In A Cell 2011)

WWE Hell in a Cell results: Mark Henry continues his reign of terror with win over Randy Orton - Cageside Seats

It is likely not a controversial statement to say Mark Henry’s 2011 Hall of Pain run was the greatest era of his career. ‘The World’s Strongest Mann’’s best work was done in this era as a true killer, despite being relatively lukewarm the rest of his time in the WWE.

This match however was really not great. Mark is a 400-plus-pound monster so tends to work best against a faster, more dynamic opponent. This was likely not Randy Orton, who was seemingly not too joyous to be once again losing to Mark and such showed in this match.

Additionally, this match like others on this list did not need the cell stipulation. It was used a little with the most notable use being Randy using it to get out of a hold on the outside by climbing the inner cell. The ending of the match was pretty slick with a counter from a Punt Kick to a World’s Strongest Slam. The world champion then attacked ‘Cowboy’ Bob’s son after the bell, but Randy had the last laugh, attacking Henry with a chair afterwards. This ending was apparently the conclusion of the feud although not feeling like it. This final moment made no man really look that strong with the most heavily pushed monster running away.
