11. Giant Haystacks

In terms of British wrestling icons, there are few bigger names than Giant Haystacks. Alongside Big Daddy, they were at the forefront of the UK wrestling boom in the ‘80s, aided by World Of Sport.

His WCW stint saw him renamed Loch Ness and join The Dungeon Of Doom. He got some wins over younger talents such as Scotty Riggs, Marcus Bagwell and Alex Wright. He challenged Lex Luger for the Television title on Nitro in 1996 but lost via count-out. His final match would be at Uncensored where he would quickly lose to The Giant, being pinned after a simple legdrop.

Unfortunately, the London-born, 600-pound behemoth would be diagnosed with cancer. This dropped any future plans of a Hulk Hogan rivalry and meant he returned to Britain where he would pass away 2 years later.
