8. Jaques Rougeau
The Rougeau-turned Mountie-turned Quebecer had a WCW run from 1996-1998. He teamed up with Quebecer tag partner Carl Ouellet (the future PCO) in The Amazing French Canadians. The duo would face The Nasty Boys, Harlem Heat, The Steiners, Public Enemy and The Face but the most noteworthy story from Jacques’s time there was a solo performance.
With the Rougeau name such a respected one in Montreal, Jacques got a clean pinfall win over then-WCW champion Hulk Hogan. The leader of the NWO laid down for Jacques out of respect for the Canadian wrestler. Jacques paid and organized the show so states it was his and not a WCW event.
