24. The Sandman

The Sandman is one of the famous ECW Originals which helped the promotion to put the company on the map of pro wrestling industry. He had a unique style where he developed into a smoking and drinking “Hardcore Icon”. Sandman worked for WWE as well when the company tried to relaunch ECW under WWE Umbrella.

However, very few people know that Sandman worked for WCW during the Monday Night Wars named as Hak. He signed a contract with WCW for 3 years in 1998 but later got released in 1999 due to the cost cutting measures by WCW.

He was usually involved in the storylines with his fellow ECW members like Raven and Bam Bam Bigelow as helped WCW to elevate the Hardcore division.
