Barry Darrow’s WCW run saw him gain even more ring names to add to an extensive connection of guises. Formerly Khrusher Khrushchev, Smash and Repo Man – there were more gimmicks to come.

Darsow originally debuted as himself mostly on the B and C-shows. He was arrested and bailed out of prison by Colonel Robert Parker and became The Blacktop Bully. He would face Dustin Rhodes in the infamous King Of The Road match, where they wrestled in the back of a hay-laid truck and the winner was te first to toot a horn. Both were fired afterwards for blading (a banned WCW practice). The name of this show? Uncensored. The irony is so clear here that I’ll let you make your own jokes.

His other gimmick was “Mr Hole-In-One”. Now a keen golfer with a flat cap and golf clubs. He would continue to stay on the lesser WCW shows and feud with Jim Duggan. He would eventually get kayfabe amnesia and forget his gimmick.
