On the 10th of March 2021, The Pinnacle faction debuted as leader MJF alongside bodyguard Wardlow forged an allegiance against the Inner Circle. This group also consisted of FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) and ‘Chairman’ Shawn Spears as they fought the Jericho-led faction.

After two different gimmick grudge matches failed to give a conclusive decision as to the superior side, multiple members of each stable are now taking on each other in individuals bouts. For example, last week we saw Jake Hager successfully challenge Wardlow to a match inside the ex-Jack Swagger’s expert arena – the MMA octagon.

This week, Konnan came face-to-face with Tully Blanchard as the former NWO member represented Santana and Ortiz and the former Horseman represented FTR. In the end, Wheeler and Harwood hit the Spike Piledriver on ‘K-Dog’, thus implying we will see an epic tag showdown between the teams in the future. It was additionally set up this week that Sammy Guevara has challenged MJF to a match next week as perhaps Maxwell Jacob Friedman and the ‘Spanish God’ have had the greatest conflict and heated rivalry out of the whole situation. Guevara was always sceptical of MJF in the stable, always conscious and distrusting throughout Friedman’s run in Y2J’s alliance.

Going weeks or even months into the future, it looks like the situation between The Pinnacle and The Inner Circle could continue through individual, more focused contests.
