5. The WWE Undisputed Championship picture would be in better shape

I say this every week on my podcast. How do you get to The Rock vs Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania in Hollywood without The Rock winning the Royal Rumble? The Royal Rumble is not a place where we need The Rock winning but WWE doesn’t know exactly how to get a belt off Roman because Vince united them for some reason. You see what I’m saying. The Rock vs Roman doesn’t even need the titles because the match sells itself. You could utilize one of the belts for a Cody Rhodes title match at Wrestlemania. The story of Cody winning the Royal Rumble and finally winning the big one would be great. You could have that be night one and Roman/Rock night 2. My point is if Triple H was in charge at the beginning of AEW debuting his world title picture wouldn’t be so difficult. Speaking of titles……..

4. Every Championship in WWE would mean a lot more

First off the 24/7 title would have never existed in the first place. The IC and US Championships have so much more value now in the first few months of Triple H being in charge than they have in years. Literally, every title match in NXT felt big when he ran NXT and I have no reason to believe it would have been any different if he was running the main shows. Remember when the main roster got trapped in Saudi and NXT took over that one night of Smackdown? How badass was that? That’s what I imagine it would have been like. Usos vs Undisputed Era. Keith Lee vs Gunther for the IC title. Daniel Bryan vs Cody Rhodes for the World title. Meaningful matches and feuds. Imagine all the possibilities there would have been if Triple H was in charge back then. But one thing is for sure. The titles are on their way to being more important right now but if Hunter had control from day 1 every title in the WWE would mean a hell of a lot more than they do right now.

3. WWE would not have lost “The Wednesday Night War”

Do you know why? Because Triple H would have kicked Tony “Cocaine” Kahns ass. He would have had the time to prepare and he would have utilized the main roster stars through NXT as well as Raw and Smackdown like he does now and their is no way AEW could compete with that. Roman Reigns and The Bloodline on NXT for a special face to face with the Undisputed Era? Yeah, Kahn good luck with that. To be fair, the NXT shows IMO were usually better than the AEW shows. I think both shows would have benefited more from not being on the same night honestly but it is what it is. But, if “The Wednesday Night War” never happens what do AEW and Tony Kahn have to brag about? Just his imaginary “great ratings” he claims he gets even though they suck.

2. Numerous AEW Superstars would still be with WWE

Bray Wyatt never would have been fired. The Undisputed Era would have never split up and gone to AEW. Keith Lee would be a mainstay on the main roster. William Regal would still run NXT. Hell, Jon Moxley might not have even left. Swerve Scott, Alister Black, Buddy Murphy, Paige, 2.0, Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe, Andrade, Christian, Cesaro, FTR, Neville, and hell who knows who else might have stayed with WWE. MJF, Britt Baker, and others could have had more interest to sign with WWE if Triple H was in charge. The Undisputed Era would be feuding with The Bloodline right now and probably be in War Games. Pat McAfee vs Adam Cole could have continued on the main roster. Look at that list of superstars. The options for feuds and storylines are limitless. Pun intended. If Triple H was in charge when AEW debuted I’m not sure they start with all the ex-WWE guys they had at the beginning and they sure as hell wouldn’t have all those former NXT superstars for sure. This leads me to my number one…..

1. AEW Would be Out of Business and part of Peacock

I’m dead serious. I know the AEW fanboys are going to freak out but think about it. If Triple H is in charge 60 percent of AEW’s roster is still in WWE outside of probably Moxley, Jericho, and Hager. AEW struggles badly to push their “homegrown talent.” So, as I said above what if just 2-3 of them go to WWE instead? That changes everything. AEW struggles to get 1 million viewers unless they name each Dynamite some lame-ass special show like “Snake by the Lake.” I think that’s what it was called. It was named something that dumb for sure. Every week they have a “surprise” or “big announcement.” Those get old when you get them every week. WWE TV would be so much better too which would hurt AEW big time. WWE’s ratings since HHH took over have jumped big time and that’s not counting the success of Summerslam, Crown Jewell, and the records already being broken in ticket sales for The Royal Rumble. HHH has done this in 4 months. FOUR!! Could you imagine if he led them from day 1 of AEW debuting? AEW would get such low viewership it would have to shut down and WWE would take pity buy them throw them in the Peacock library and HHH would take the superstars he liked. It’s sad AEW lovers but it’s true. WWE is better than AEW and you know it just because he didn’t have the CEO title on day one doesn’t mean this still won’t happen to AEW if they don’t improve. That company is like a high school with people hiding in bathrooms, 38298 interim titles, and storylines that go nowhere. Without a doubt, the number 1 thing that would change if Triple H ran WWE when AEW debuted is that AEW wouldn’t exist anymore and I would be very thankful for that.
