Vs. Edge – WWE Championship (Summerslam 2006)
The end of John Cena’s first WWE championship title reign will go down in history as the first time the Money in the Bank contract was cashed in. This cash-in from the Rated-R Superstar Edge sparked the most heated and personal rivalry to come out of the Ruthless Aggression era. This rivalry involves father, the Long Island sound, tables, ladders, chairs, and even sex. It was without a doubt these two were going to the main event of Summerslam 2006. This match may not have been the best out of the rivalry, but it does lead to one of their greatest matches at Unforgiven 2006.
