01. Jeff Hardy (c) Vs. CM Punk – TLC Match for the World Heavyweight Championship (SummerSlam 2009)

And the number 01 spot belongs to one of the greatest TLC matches of all time. Jeff Hardy and CM Punk had one of the greatest rivalries at the Smackdown brand. Putting these two against each other in a match that Hardy made it famous at SummerSlam only was pure gold.

This match backstory was so fantastic and had several unforgettable moments throughout the entire rivalry. Punk cashed in his MITB briefcase on Hardy and won the title, after Hardy won the World Heavyweight Title from Edge in a brutal TLC match at Extreme Rules 2009. Since then, these two men collided several times and Hardy regained his title at The Bash 2009. FInally, there rivalry culminated at SummerSlam in a TLC match.

The match was brutal and we saw many dangerous spots. Hardy hits the Swanton Bomb on Punk through the announcer’s table flying off the top of the ladder. But, Punk somehow manages to get in the ring and grab the title to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. But, what happened after the match just adds some extra WOW factor in this main event.

As Punk was celebrating and posing with the title standing at the top of Hardy, the lights briefly went out and The Undertaker appeared in place of Hardy and performed a chokeslam on Punk as the show went off air.
