03. The Undertaker Vs. Edge – Hell in a Cell Match (SummerSlam 2008)

The Number 03 spot belongs to the only Hell in a Cell match in the SummerSlam history. Undertaker and Edge were the two top faces of Smackdown brand at that time and their rivalry can be considered as one of the best rivalries during the end of Ruthless Aggression Era.

This rivalry started at Survivor Series 2007 when Edge cost Taker his match against Batista for the title inside HIAC. After Wrestle Mania 24 encounter and then later down the line in 2008 the two had a loser leaves WWE match with TLC stipulation which Edge shockingly won and the Undertaker has to leave WWE. After Edge cheated on Vickie Guerrero out of spite she made a Hell in a Cell match for the Main Event of Summer Slam and Edge would have to face Undertaker.

The match was absolutely brutal and in the end of the match,  Undertaker then hit Edge with a television camera, a Spear and a con-chair-toe, taking revenge on Edge for attacking him the same way at Survivor Series 2007. The Tombstone Piledriver ended the match with a victory for the Undertaker. After the match, however, as Undertaker was leaving, he saw on the titantron that Edge was still moving. So he went back in the ring to finish him off for good and chokeslammed Edge off of a ladder through the center of the ring, through the canvas. Then Undertaker went down and posed with flames engulfing the collapsed area of the canvas.
