07. The Rock (c) Vs. Kurt Angle Vs. Triple H – Triple Threat Match for the WWF Championship (SummerSlam 2000)

The Number 07 spot belongs to one of the best Triple Threat matches of the Attitude Era. The Rock, Kurt Angle and Triple H were the top guys during that era, and putting these three men against each other in the main event of SummerSlam 2000 was a fantastic idea.

This match got overshadowed by one of the greatest match of all time at the same event. Yes, I’m talking about the Triple Threat TLC match between The Hardyz, The Dudleyz and Edge & Christian. Most of us remembered this PPV because of the iconic TLC match and the main event of the night didn’t even get enough recognition by the fans.

The match was full of shenanigans because this match is from Attitude Era where shenanigans were the cherry on the top in every match. We saw Angle getting injured before the match even started and Rock and Triple H starts the match with lot of interference from Stephanie. In the end, Triple H accidentally hit Stephanie and Rock took the advantage of the situation and hits the People’s Elbow on Hunter to retain his gold.
